Freediving and being comfortable in the water, many believe, cannot be taught. I disagree.
The ability to hold your breath, immerse yourself fully in water and feel at peace there, is a gift that has been given to all. The human body is adapted in breathtaking ways for the state of APNEA- the cessation of breathing.

ABOUT FREEDIVING IN CAPE TOWN, South Africa
Home of the Great Whites, the cape Fur Seals and the most beautiful kelp forests you can imagine. Freediving in Cape Town is still quite unexplored, except by the intrepid spearfishermen who scour these rich waters. These are the waters I call home and I run courses here frequently. We are also introducing training times for freedivers in and around Cape Town to train together at our local quarry, this is important, as freediving alone is the only thing that can really make this beautiful sport dangerous.
